India is bonkers. It's like English eccentricity multiplied by a hundreds, mixed with Tory levels of sexism, moustaches by the dozen and enough religious deities to start your own role-playing game. And it's fantastic, except for Delhi. Don't go there. No, don't, really. Do take the trains, though - and buy a ticket rather than pretending you're from Sangatte or summat.
Luggage?
Rajasthan, India, 2001. Taken from a slow-moving train very early one morning. We were travelling from Delhi to Baroda, through Rajasthan, to track down relatives possibly caught in the earthquake. Seeing this display from my seat, and chuckling to myself, I sprinted off down the carriage and took two shots through the open window. Luck is a wild thing.
