India is bonkers. It's like English eccentricity multiplied by a hundreds, mixed with Tory levels of sexism, moustaches by the dozen and enough religious deities to start your own role-playing game. And it's fantastic, except for Delhi. Don't go there. No, don't, really. Do take the trains, though - and buy a ticket rather than pretending you're from Sangatte or summat.

Street kids in Delhi, running with footballer pace and style. Begging is all they do. This kid looked about 3. He was probably 7. He might be 11 now. I wonder what he's doing.
