Photojournalism & Documentary

We all like to tell stories, and they change with every pub re-telling, which is quite right. And photos are great for that, because they become a natural focal point, rather than the story-teller. All the time someone's looking at your picture, they might be making up a story of their own. It's fun to show the subjects the pictures afterwards, because they then start coming up with tales and justifications of their own, because they obviously can't see what you see - hence the band shots are always a good laugh.

Open House is one of my favourite times of the year in London - it offers great new locations to set up shoots and take pictures on the quiet.
