People are endlessly fascinating and frustrating at the same time.
People often dislike their own picture. I usually offer the explanation that it is because they have an image of themselves in their minds which is a mirror image, formed by seeing themselves in the mirror most often, and any photograph will appear “reversed”, even though it is correct. Other photographers have confirmed this idea, one fashion photographer gaining more approval when he reversed the pictures before printing.
